ENVE’s long-time New Zealand distributor, Wide-Open, sponsors some of the best Kiwi mountain bike talent around – including Sam Robbie. Partnering with Intense and ENVE – Robbie was able to bring to life his new M29 FRO downhill bike, which will debut at Fort William in the second round of the World Cup.

“I’m really excited to finally get to ride the M29, as I have watched Jack Moir and Dean Lucas test and progress it from the first aluminium prototype this time last year.” stated Robbie.

At only 18 years old, Robbie has already had quite a bit of experience, and has earned quite a few wins, including a top 10 in the first round of the Downhill World Cup in the highly competitive Junior category.

“Building the bike with top of the line parts like ENVE’s new and improved M930 wheelset, which proved themselves in the brutal rocks of Croatia, is key to high performance,” noted Robbie.
