For all the gorgeous bikes we saw during the Chris King Open House, one of the true showstoppers was the Storm King from Portland, Oregon based Sage Titanium Bicycles. Originally shown as a prototype version at the ENVE Builders Summit in August with a raw titanium finish, Sage took it up to another level for the Chris King show with an adventure-inspiring paint job to finish off the stunning build.

Sage’s Dave Rosen said, “We wanted to prove the Storm King could be at home anywhere. By using lines that fragment and shear through topographic landscapes we’ve shown the Storm King is capable of endless miles of exploration.“

Between the ENVE Gravel Fork and the frame’s curved seat tube design, the Storm King can clear massive 700×50 or 650×2.5 tires–enough to guarantee tire clearance is never going to be an issue. It’s the kind of clearance that you might not ever use on most gravel rides, but it sure is nice knowing you have it.
