ENVE and Race Day Wheels Join Forces
for IRONMAN U.S. Wheel Rentals
ENVE and Race Day Wheels are pleased to announce a partnership that will see the U.S.-made carbon wheels available for rental at all IRONMAN® U.S. Series events, including this month’s Vega IRONMAN World Championship® in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i. This partnership will allow athletes in need of event-specific race wheels the opportunity to benefit from ENVE’s SES aero technologies through a convenient rental from Race Day Wheels.
ENVE’s SES wheels deliver an aerodynamic performance advantage and unprecedented stability through rim shape, curvature, and widths that are optimized for a reduction in drag while decreasing rolling resistance when paired with performance oriented tubeless tires. Race Day Wheels will have a complete offering of SES 5.6, 5.6 Disc, 7.8, and 7.8 Disc wheelsets. All ENVE wheels will be set up tubeless to further improve race-day performance and flat tire prevention. Additionally, ENVE’s Lifetime Incident Protection program covers all rentals against damage, so adding additional insurance is unnecessary.

Race Day Wheels first started offering wheel rentals in 2005 and have since become the go-to wheel rental company in the U.S. As the official wheel rental partner for IRONMAN U.S. events, Race Day Wheels will be able to provide ENVE wheel rental options at every IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3® triathlon in the U.S. Athletes simply reserve their wheelset of choice through www.racedaywheels.com, then bring their bike to the event expo at IRONMAN Village where Race Day Wheels mechanics handle the installation.
This month, ENVE will return to Kona as the official wheel partner of the Vega IRONMAN World Championship. As a partner, ENVE will be offering all athletes the opportunity to experience their latest tire inflation technology to precisely dial in the perfect tire pressure. Additionally, tech discussions on Wednesday, October 9 and Thursday, October 10 from 3:00-3:30 p.m. will cover the advantages of going tubeless and how to reduce rolling resistance. The tech discussions and ENVE Inflation Stations will be at the ENVE booth in the IRONMAN village.
