When you have riders such as Amaury Pierron, Thibaut Daprela, and Myriam “Pompon” Nicole in your ranks, their results create a ton of buzz on their own. Nevertheless, when it comes to the World Championships there’s always room for a special build to make some extra noise. For their assault on the rainbow jersey in Mont Saint-Ann, Amaury and Myriam received custom Supreme DH frames with a pearl white and platinum gray finish. The ENVE M930 wheels and M9 bars have “chrome rainbow” decals that tie together the oil slick finish on the rest of the bike’s components.
The special rainbow build was foretelling. Myriam went on to win the World Championships and pull on the rainbow jersey.
“World Champs is always a special race where riders play ‘all in’, so as a team we owe them to do the same with their bikes and kits,” said team manager Thibaut Ruffin. “It started with COOMMENCAL working on the Meta AM XX for their 20th birthday and we all agreed that we wanted the same with this year’s worlds bikes. Riders dream about those rainbow stripes, so giving that rainbow effects will hopefully inspire them and their bikes. Thanks to COMMENCAL as well as the support from SRAM, Rockshox, ENVE and HT for the parts and IXS for the kits, here we are!”
