Clif Bar Crit Stars

In what is becoming a dream season for Team CLIF Bar Cycling, they have found themselves leading the Overall Team Standings in the USA Crits series. Along with that success, they have three riders in the Top-10 overall, and one rider, Kevin Mullervy, wearing the Lap Leader jersey.

The USA Crits series, which spans across 11 events, takes these bike racers all across the United States. The series is live-streamed through the USA Crits website, and has brought big crowds out in-person and online to watch the faster-paced cycling style, known as a ‘Criterium Racing’ or ‘Crit Racing’ in their local towns.

Director of the CLIF Bar Team, Dylan Seguin expresses great excitement about the team’s success, “The USA CRITS Series has been a blast this season. Exciting races, big boisterous crowds, great locations, live streaming – it’s good stuff. At Team CLIF we believe that the large US Criteriums have the ability to do very positive things for the sport of cycling, so the team’s focus includes putting on a show at the big, downtown races.”

Crit racing, especially, allows for more fun spectating and more aggressive racing. Because of this constant high speed, Team CLIF Bar specifically uses the SES 7.8 Wheelset. Seguin mentions, ”Our aggressive racing style not only entertains the fans, it’s also paid off this season on the results front. The results are great, but they’re only a piece of the puzzle – first & foremost we’re doing our best to lead by example, represent our wonderful sponsors, connect with the fans and appreciate all the fun that can be had racing bikes!”
