Bike Check - Seena's Evil
Never before has a mountain bike been featured in Lowrider Magazine. Seena Shah, however, decided to change that, by putting the same painstaking detail work into his EVIL Wreckoning, as he did on his own lowrider.
“While waiting for all of the parts to arrive, I was hanging out in my garage one night staring at my half-built lowrider when I got this crazy idea; what if I customized the mountain bike to match the lowrider?”, said Shah.
First, the custom mural paint job featuring famous rap producer, Suge Knight, was performed by Alberto Herrara at Quality Art. Pinstriping, and the incredible gold leaf patterns on the frame, ENVE M730 Wheels, the DVO Fork, and his helmet were done by Phillip Finelines. Final assembly was done by Roy’s Cyclery in Upland, CA.
While the lowrider and the bike both look stunning when fresh and clean, Shah isn’t afraid to get the bike dirty with frequent trips to Whistler or his local bike park.
“It’s interesting because the bike doesn’t fit into any single category. The mountain bikers online said it’d never see dirt, and the Lowriders online said it’s not a lowrider bike. Yet, on the trails, the bike shreds and incidentally, draws a bit of a crowd at trailheads and lift lines.” said Shah.
