Ben Hoffman has some big changes this year with Cervelo, ENVE, and a host of other new partners coming in for 2019. With over a decade of professional triathlon under his belt, which include six IRONMAN victories and a second place at the IRONMAN World Championships, it’s crazy to think that his equipment advantage just increased for the season.
“As far as how this bike rides, to say I’m impressed would be a severe understatement, said Ben. He continued, “It’s incredibly comfortable with no direct road vibration transfer through a traditional seat tube, and plenty stiff for power transfer with hefty chainstays, bottom bracket, and thru axles. Add in the ENVE wheels, and the bike responds magically to any rider input. The bike absolutely sails on the open roads and in any crosswinds, bombs descents confidently and precisely, and my riding partners often complain of minimal draft effect when riding behind me.”
Ben will be making his full IRONMAN season debut in South Africa on April 7th.
